Initial insurance billing including primary, secondary and tertiary insurances within
  24 hours of receipt of  patient information

  Electronic and paper claim submissions

  Routine follow-up with all insurance companies to make sure claims are processed
  correctly and in a timely manner

  Review and compare each Explanation of Benefits (EOB) with the original submitted
  claims, check for discrepancies and appeal for higher payments when necessary.

  Send out patient statements including follow-up and reminders if payments are not
  received on time

  Handle all patient billing inquiries directly to allow providers' staff to attentively
  work on daily duties

  Insurance denial management

  Complete review of all open accounts quarterly to insure all outstanding monies
  are being collected

  HIPAA compliance

  ICD-9 and CPT code analysis

  Periodic review of new/or deleted ICD9 and CPT codes

  Periodic review of any price changes for each CPT code used

  Monthly detailed A/R reports in order to review accounts, track weakness and
  establish ways to improve efficiency

  Advise physicians of any uncollected amounts and upon decision, submit matters
  to a collection agency

  Assist physicians and their staff in maintaining professional relationships with their
  patients
